How we serve...

How we serve is more important than where we serve.

This quote made me immediately think of serving in the nursery. Not because I don't love serving in the nursery (I really do!) but because it seems so many people dislike serving in the nursery. True- it's not a glamorous sit-on-the-stand-look-at-me calling, but isn't it so important?!  I'm soooooo grateful for the amazing nursery leaders my little gal has! They are so awesome. She LOVES going!  This quote is for all the behind the scenes callings- the scout leaders, the librarians,  the visiting teachers, the primary teachers, the Sunday school teachers- what a difference you all make!

  1. LOVE this!! This is what I needed to see lately. My husband recently got called into the Bishopric and the Stake President talked about how he wished that members would look up more and seek direction more from the other wonderful leaders in the ward and not just the bishopric. Now that I am on the other end of this calling, the Bishopric should never be viewed as a glamorous calling because it is not. It is tiring and exhausting and their families are along for the duration of it as well with dads gone a lot. Blessings do come but amazing blessings can come from any calling if your best efforts are put forth.
