I made these little thank you's for all the school personal who helped out my little guy this year. We moved just 2 1/2 weeks before school started, so he was the brand new kid. I wanted to show my appreciation for everyone at his new school who helped during those first few months. I included a gift card to In & Out along with it and just printed out my little saying above and taped it over the gift card.

Always look lovely....
This is another one of my favorite quotes!
If you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.
So pretty to display in a funky frame.

How we serve...
How we serve is more important than where we serve.

This quote made me immediately think of serving in the nursery. Not because I don't love serving in the nursery (I really do!) but because it seems so many people dislike serving in the nursery. True- it's not a glamorous sit-on-the-stand-look-at-me calling, but isn't it so important?! I'm soooooo grateful for the amazing nursery leaders my little gal has! They are so awesome. She LOVES going! This quote is for all the behind the scenes callings- the scout leaders, the librarians, the visiting teachers, the primary teachers, the Sunday school teachers- what a difference you all make!

To be valiant...
It has been over a month since I've posted anything and while I wish it was because I was just playing hooky, 'tis not so. We have had major sickness in our family- which just shouldn't be allowed in the warm summer weather! But we are starting to feel better and this thought has been on my mind lately.
To be valiant in the testimony of Jesus is to take the Lord’s side on every issue. It is to vote as he would vote. It is to think what he thinks, to believe what he believes, to say what he would say and do what he would do in the same situation.
