Oh how I love this time of year! Several of my neighbors have began to hang their Christmas lights. Even though it has been warm & sunny weather here in Utah, I am definitely catching the Christmas spirit!! I designed these as a way to thank all of your for following me along on this blog, facebook, Instagram, pinterest etc. I started this blog to add a little light and goodness to the internet. No problem is too small...
One of my favorite scriptures is Alma 37:37.
Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
This quote just reminded me of how powerful prayer is and how we really should pray about any problem we have- small or large.

This is such a wonderful quote- how many times do we hold back kind words? Whether out of jealousy, or bitterness or maybe we think 'so and so' already knows how great she is at this or that. There are so many reasons. One thing I'm trying to teach my kids is that saying something kind about somebody else or to somebody else doesn't take away anything from us.
So today, share kindness. Build each other up. Say those kind thoughts. You really don't know what is going on in someone else's life and you're kind words just might change that person's entire day.
